NJS is looking forward to welcome you to the general assembly 2026. Before the general assembly, there will be a conference Friday 29 May 2026 with an option of a study trip for existing NJS-members Saturday 30 May 2026. Furthermore, existing NJS-members are invited to a get-together in the evening Thursday 28 May.

Price for non-members includes membership of NJS in the period June-December 2026. Non-members cannot atttend the General Assembly or the Study trip. If you want to attend the General Assembly or Study trip, you must register as NJS member before registration (see www.njs.one)

It is possible for existing members of NJS to attend one of two different study trips the day after the general assembly:

Study trip to the workshop in Næstved maintaining the Danish fleet of locomotive hauled trains (international Talgo trains and double deck trains) or
Study trip to the traffic control centre in Copenhagen

The programme for study trip A to the workshop in Næstved is:
09:00: Meeting at Copenhagen Central Station at the large clock in the centre (luggage can be stored at Copenhagen Central Station prior to the meeting time)
09:17: Train departure from Copenhagen Central Station
10:30: Arrival at the workshop in Næstved

13:15: Departure from the workshop in Næstved
14:43: Arrival at Copenhagen Central Station

The programme for study trip B to the traffic control centre in Copenhagen is:

09:00: Meeting at Copenhagen Central Station in the departure hall at the elevator to track 11 and 12

09:30: Presentation of the traffic control centre of Copenhagen

09:45: Presentation of CBTC and the suburban railway lines of Copenhagen

10:15: Visit the traffic control for the suburban railway lines of Copenhagen

Break

11:00: Presentation of the Danish Signalling Programme

11:30: Visit the traffic control for the ERTMS eqquipped lines in the Eastern part of Denmark

Lunch

13:00: View of the Copenhagen Railway lines from the roof terrace of the traffic control centre
